That's where every Vārasatvam piece begins. Not with a catalogue of settings to pick from, but with a conversation about the person, the occasion or the memory the piece is meant to hold.
We work in small numbers, by appointment, with a single design team following your commission from first sketch to final polish — so what arrives is unmistakably yours, and nobody else's.
Four stages, one piece.
Most commissions take four to six weeks from first conversation to delivery, depending on the complexity of the design and the stones involved.
Consultation
A private conversation — in our atelier or over video — about who the piece is for, what it needs to mean, and what you already love or want to move away from.
Design
Our designers sketch by hand, then build a 3D render you can turn, resize and revise, in gold, platinum or silver, until the form is settled.
Craft
The piece is cast, stone-set and finished by hand by our workshop's master jewellers.
Delivery
Your piece arrives in its own case with a certificate of provenance for every stone, and an open invitation back for resizing or care, for as long as you own it.

Set by hand, not by machine.
We work in gold and sterling silver, with diamonds and coloured gemstones sourced from suppliers who can trace them back to origin. Every stone is set under a loupe by a jeweller who has been doing this for decades, not a machine that has been doing it for months.
